Standardized test taking has always been something I been able to do well but not excelled in. The first time I took the ACT was in the Spring of my junior year. I received a 22 scoring the highest on the math and science receiving a 24 in both of these sections. I know the pre-calc class I was in helped me tremendously in the math section. I had to try again to see if I could improve so I took it a second time in the Fall of my senior year. This time my score went up and I received a 23. My reading section this time around was the highest at a 26 and my english section also improved by 4 points. I didn't feel as if I improved a significant amount and needed to try again so that was the last time I took it. I know a 23 is a perfectly good score and wasn't overly concerned with the number. I was accepted in every college that I applied to. After all a number doesn't define you.
